Together, they reaffirm the belief that no matter the trials we face, God steps in at just the right moment, offering a message of hope and encouragement to all who listen.
The Sunday Evening service at Middletown Baptist Church was a deeply moving experience, marked by the gospel singing of the McCloskey family. Pat McCloskey commenced the service with a warm welcome and an expression of gratitude for the congregation's presence. His words set an inviting tone, encouraging everyone to engage with the evening's offerings of music and worship. The McCloskeys captivated the audience with their performances, which were infused with themes of divine promises and the reassurance that God is always by our side. Through their music, they conveyed powerful messages about overcoming life's challenges with faith and the importance of relying on God's love and grace.
The service featured moments of reflection, as Pat McCloskey shared personal anecdotes about the ways in which he has witnessed God's grace in his life. His heartfelt storytelling served to illustrate the sermon’s key themes: the importance of gratitude, the strength of community, and the unwavering hope found in faith. He emphasized that while life may bring difficulties, believers are equipped with the tools necessary to navigate through them, primarily through their trust in God. The McCloskeys' music complemented this message beautifully, resonating with the congregation and encouraging them to reaffirm their faith through song and worship.
As the service came to a close, Pat McCloskey invited the congregation to take the messages of hope and resilience with them into their daily lives. He urged everyone not only to reflect on the promises of God but also to actively engage in sharing their faith within their communities. The evening was a celebration of spiritual connection, leaving attendees uplifted and inspired to live out their faith boldly. The combination of the McCloskeys' stirring performances and Pastor Josh's reflective messages created a memorable service that highlighted the church's mission to spread hope and truth in a world that often feels uncertain.

Speaker B
I had a person who.
Speaker B
Where were we?
Speaker B
Arkansas.
Speaker B
I had a friend of mine said, hey, listen, we got a place set up for you all.
Speaker B
It's a tent out behind the church.
Speaker B
And I said, well, I'll be fine in a tent just as long as it's got air conditioning.
Speaker B
That's what I told them, you know.
Speaker B
So sometimes that's the case.
Speaker B
Man, it's good to see you tonight.
Speaker B
Praise the Lord.
Speaker B
Glad you came out.
Speaker B
We're just going to have a time where we just encourage each other and have some music and honor and glorify God and thank the Lord for the great country we live in.
Speaker B
Do we live in the greatest land on the face of this earth?
Speaker B
Amen.
Speaker B

Speaker B
We live in America, don't we?
Speaker B
Aren't you thankful you're an American?
Speaker B
And I'll tell you, I've always told folks, if people don't like this and don't like that, they can move somewhere else.
Speaker B
North Korea, I don't know, wherever.
Speaker B
You know, we're blessed to be in this great, great country.
Speaker B
And as a matter of fact, we're going to sing a song tonight that has been requested, and I think you'll recognize it.
Speaker B
I'm going to have you help me.
Speaker E
Sing it a little bit, too.
Speaker B
It's a song that just simply talks about God blessing the USA amenity.

My children and my wife I thank.
Speaker E
The Lord above to be living here today cause the flag still stands for free and they can't take that away.

Speaker B
Hey, are you proud to be.
Speaker B
Hey, listen, I know America has got its issues.
Speaker B
Did you know that Israel had its issues back when Paul was walking around?
Speaker B
You know what I'm talking about?
Speaker B
I'm sure America is going to have its issues.
Speaker B
But can I tell you something?
Speaker B
I believe with all my heart.
Speaker B
It's because of churches just like this one right here in Middletown, Delaware, that love God, that are preaching the word of God, that are having harvest gatherings and having women's of faith conferences and so forth, that are moving and moving forward and come forward and get on their knees and talk to the Lord.
Speaker B
I believe with all my heart.
Speaker B
That's what's holding America together.
Speaker B
There's no doubt in my mind.
Speaker B
Amen.
Speaker B
I mean, you look at Sodom and Gomorrah, right?
Speaker B
What did God say?
Speaker B
He said, if I could find ten righteous.
Speaker B
Did he say that?
Speaker B
And then he kind of narrowed it.
Speaker B
Narrowed it.
Speaker B
You know what?
Speaker B
Can I tell you something?
Speaker B
I believe there's churches all across America that are holding this place together.
Speaker B
And you get to be part of that.
Speaker B
Aren't you thankful for that?
Speaker B
You say, well, it's all about the election.
Speaker B
It ain't all about an election, friend.
Speaker B
It's all about our churches.
Speaker B
It's all about.
Speaker B
It's all about the Lord.
Speaker B
It's all about putting him first in our life.
Speaker B
I've had a lot of people tell me they'll say, well, brother, I don't know, maybe what you ought to do is keep politics out of your preaching.
Speaker B
And I said, or keep preaching out of politics.
Speaker B
And I say, well, maybe they need to keep politics out of my preaching because I'm just going to preach the Bible.
Speaker B
I'm going to preach morals.
Speaker B
I'm going to preach what's right, what's godly, and what's holy.
Speaker B
Amen.
Speaker B
I believe that with all my heart.
Speaker B
And we shouldn't be ashamed of that.
Speaker B
Doesn't matter whether you're a Democrat, Republican or whether you're whatever, okay?
Speaker B
Independent, or whether you're from the state of California.
Speaker E
I don't know what to say.
Speaker B
But y'all just plan on.
Speaker B
Just plan on preaching it and don't be ashamed of it.
Speaker B
Praise the Lord for that.
Speaker B
I love this next song.
Speaker B
We've only sung it a couple times, but here we go.
Speaker B
We're gonna try.
Speaker D
My faith still holds unto the Christ of Calvary holy rock of ages clench.
Speaker E
For me.
Speaker D
I gladly praise my trust in things I cannot see my face still hold unto the Christ of Calvary.
Speaker C
I thought I had to see and feel to prove that what I loved was really real a passion turn to ashes these I held to die I found reality in the same and, oh, what joy to walk this way I follow nail print footprints all the way and all the end of where I'm bound I may not see I choose hash choose to place my trust in.
Speaker D
Calvary my face still holds unto the Christ of Calvary o blessed rock of ages for me I gladly praise my trust and peace I cannot see my face still holds unto the cries of Calvary.
Speaker B
Amen.
Speaker B
Praise the Lord.
Speaker E
Three days in misery and dread knowing that Christ the Lord was dead I, Mary arose that first Easter morning went to the tomb Peter and John came following up and when they found the savior gone as they turned to go John said with a glow he's living again he's living again.
Speaker D
He rains come on high o yes, it's true he came here tonight.
Speaker E
He rose from the.
Speaker D
Grave.
Speaker E
Roll my stone away and I'm glad to say he's living again when.
Speaker D
This world says our Lord is dead they can't find fruit in what they.
Speaker E
Said they seek a grave where his body lay this story to end then I'll take them to a garden tomb.
Speaker D
Show them that hollow, empty room the.
Speaker E
Story lives on he's arisen, he's gone.
Speaker D
He'S living again.
Speaker E
He'S living again.
Speaker B
From.
Speaker D
On high oh, yes, it's true he came here to die.
Speaker E
He rose from.
Speaker D
The grave Rome, that's on the way.
Speaker E
And I'm glad to say he's living again and I'm glad to say.
Speaker D
He'S living again living again living again.
Speaker E
I serve a risen savior.
Speaker B
Amen.
Speaker B
He's in the world today.
Speaker B
That's why I believe the church needs to be alive.
Speaker B
I've been in a lot of churches.
Speaker B
My goodness.
Speaker B
You know, I've talked about that before, and I'm just wondering what is going on, man?
Speaker B
Somebody needs to just wake.
Speaker B
Hey, everybody, next time, leave your pillows at home.
Speaker B
You know what I'm talking about?
Speaker B
I mean, goodness gracious.
Speaker B
You're running to that and you're going, goodness, man.
Speaker B
We ought to be alive.
Speaker B
Alive, man.
Speaker B
Our worship team got up here and began to lead songs today.
Speaker B
And they were leading songs and they were singing and I was watching.
Speaker B
Who was I?
Speaker B
Brother Mark.
Speaker B
I'm watching Brother Mark on the end, man.
Speaker B
Brother Mark's in his own world, man.
Speaker B
When he gets to singing them songs, it's kind of like, hey, don't bother me right now.
Speaker B
I'm leading the song.
Speaker B
I know I am, but I'm into this, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B
I love to see the smiles and the happy faces.
Speaker B
I love to see the joy that's on someone's heart when they sing a song.
Speaker B
You know, we do that.
Speaker B
It's funny, sometimes we'll get to singing songs about America and people will be more excited about that than we sing, christians.
Speaker B
And I'm like, hey, come on, man.
Speaker B
We serve a risen savior.
Speaker E
Hello.
Speaker B
You know, so I'm so thankful for that.
Speaker B
Praise the Lord for that.
Speaker B
Hey, by the way, I want to mention real quick, while I've got a chance, the table in the back, I hope you stop by there.
Speaker B
Many folks have already stopped by and are picking up these shirts right here.
Speaker B
I got to tell you, we are trying to get folks in New York City and in Chicago and in California to wear these shirts.
Speaker B
You know, I'm kind of kidding, sort of.
Speaker B
Okay.
Speaker B
But I'll tell you what, man.
Speaker B
These shirts have just really made an impact across America, and I'm so thankful for that.
Speaker B
And many of you, some of you have got them.
Speaker B
You got them in different colors and everything.
Speaker B
We changed the colors on purpose.
Speaker B
So you'll buy them again.
Speaker B
Yeah.
Speaker B
Good strategy.
Speaker B
Amen.
Speaker B
So I hope you'll stop by and take a look at that.
Speaker B
My wife has these beautiful braces, by the way.
Speaker B
Proceeds from the tonight are going to be able to help those that are in North Carolina.
Speaker B
Some folks have already given, if you would like to help with the cause to North Carolina, I text over a link that you can get from Michelle.
Speaker B
Okay.
Speaker B
Michelle has that link.
Speaker B
And you just talk to her and she'll work.
Speaker B
I don't know how y'all will work it out, but I'm sure there's a way and you can get that and give towards that.
Speaker B
And so we've got some money we're going to be giving because of some of the shirts that, because of the shirts that have been sold.
Speaker B
And if you want to have a part in that, I certainly hope you stop by the table and do that.
Speaker B
And then, of course, we've got the cds back there, the newest cd.
Speaker B
I've got a.
Speaker B
I feel like I'm on my own desk right here.
Speaker B
And we've got our newest cd right here called our faith still holds.
Speaker B
Just sang that song that's on that cd.
Speaker B
Many of the songs we're singing tonight are on that particular cd.
Speaker B
So I certainly hope you'll stop by and take a look at that and listen.
Speaker B
Brother Frank, did that thumb work?
Speaker B
Okay.
Speaker B
Did you get it in there?
Speaker B
You got it in your computer?
Speaker B
In the computer, right.
Speaker B
And it loaded up and there's all the songs.
Speaker B
You can even put this on your computer at home.
Speaker B
Isn't that awesome?
Speaker B
And then you can run your own disc off for your car.
Speaker B
I can't believe I'm telling people that.
Speaker B
I want you to buy this and the disc.
Speaker B
Okay.
Speaker B
But no, seriously, you can stop by and pick that up.
Speaker B
You can plug it in the USB port in your car.
Speaker B
Many people do that.
Speaker B
So there it is.
Speaker B
I hope you'll stop by, pick it up and listen.
Speaker B
We don't need the money.
Speaker B
We don't.
Speaker B
We don't need the money at all.
Speaker B
All the people I owe, though, need the money.
Speaker B
Okay.
Speaker B
So I hope you'll stop by, take a little peek at what's going on there.
Speaker B
I'm so glad that sometimes I look, you know, we found out today back home.
Speaker B
You know, I mentioned, I think I mentioned we had 25, 27 trees that fell in the yard where my sister, we, our coach is parked at.
Speaker B
My sister in law's place because we're trying to help my father in law and mother in law.
Speaker B
And so we're actually parked there.
Speaker B
And we're traveling out of Augusta right now.
Speaker B
And out of 27 big old tall trees, not one hit the house, not one hit the coach, not one hit the cars, not one hit the shed, nothing.
Speaker B
The biggest thing they, two biggest things they hit was it hit a trampoline.
Speaker B
Wiped the trampoline out.
Speaker B
And the second biggest thing was the wheelbarrow.
Speaker B
I mean, it's bent in half.
Speaker B
Yeah.
Speaker B
Oh, and it took out a fence.
Speaker B
So anyway, we're blessed with that.
Speaker B
But my sister in law called us this afternoon at four and said, the power is back on.
Speaker B
So she is shouting the victory.
Speaker B
Since nine days altogether been without power.
Speaker B
And that always worries me with our motor coach, because the motor coach will sit there and often it'll start drawing off the batteries and things like, I don't turn all that off.
Speaker B
Matter of fact, I left the water on.
Speaker B
Normally I turn the water off and she said, oh, no, there's water coming out of.
Speaker B
From one of your slides.
Speaker B
It's leaking out of one of your slides.
Speaker B
And I'm like, what?
Speaker B
And I ended up finding out that one of the pipes, actually, I don't know how that happens, but one of the water lines had sprung a leak underneath the sink and was running only for about 4 hours, though.
Speaker B
So praise the Lord for that.
Speaker B
She shut it down.
Speaker B
And now my wife's going to hop on an airplane.
Speaker B
We got to be at the airport at 03:00 in the morning at BWA.
Speaker B
And so I can hardly wait.
Speaker B
We gotta be there.
Speaker B
She's hopping on an airplane, she's gonna be flying back, she's going to the coach, she's gonna get on the phone and she's gonna say, okay, how do I turn this water where I can use it?
Speaker B
Inside the coach.
Speaker B
And we have this distribution system, and I'll coach her on that.
Speaker B
We'll see what happens.
Speaker B
But, man, I'll tell you what, God is good, isn't he?
Speaker B
Just the time you wonder if it's all gonna be okay.
Speaker B
Can I tell you what?
Speaker B
He steps right in, right on time.
Speaker E
Amen.
Speaker B
I'm glad I know a God who.
Speaker E
Meets each and every one of our needs.
Speaker E
And over again, this song talks about it.
Speaker C
When there's nothing but trouble on every side.
Speaker C
And it's so dark I can't remember the line.
Speaker C
I pray to find an answer but there's no way out.
Speaker C
When I've seen the worst of and my world's upside down that's when God.
Speaker D
Steps in over and over again when it looks like that all hope is gone in my life that's when God steps in when I reach the end he finds a new way for me to begin.
Speaker E
That'S when my my God.
Speaker D
Steps in that's when my God steps in.
Speaker C
And I don't know why he's waiting taking his time but his thoughts are higher than mine oh, he knows the perfect moment for my world to change when it seems too late he puts all things in place that's when.
Speaker D
God steps in over and over again when it looks like that all hope is gone in my life that's when God steps in when I reached the end he finds a new way for me to begin that's when my God steps in that's when my God steps in.
Speaker E
Help it.
Speaker E
I love this part right here.
Speaker D
When I am down to nothing he's up to something working behind the scenes playing my victory that's when God steps in over and over again when it looks like that all hope is gone in my life that's when God steps in when I reach the end he finds a new way for me to begin that's when my God steps in that's when my God steps in.
Speaker D
My God steps.
Speaker E
Amen.
Speaker E
Praise the Lord.
Speaker E
Sing this with me.
Speaker B
You know it?
Speaker E

Speaker E

Speaker E
All right.
Speaker E
There'll be no Covid there no more burdens to bear no more sickness no peace no more parting over and forever.
Speaker D

Speaker E
The one who died for me with.

Speaker E

Speaker C

Speaker E
And he loves to hear the rain drops as he swipes through the ground in a magic melody he smiles with sweet approval as the waves crash through the rocks and harmony creation joins in unity sing to him majestic symphony.

Speaker B
Isn't that wonderful?
Speaker B
And I like that part where he lifts his hands for silence.
Speaker B
When the weak is saved by grace, I mean they're singing and glorifying and glorying God in heaven.
Speaker B
But then when someone praying that prayer and making that transformation from death to life, he says, shh, everybody quiet.
Speaker B
I gotta hear this.
Speaker B
I love it, don't you?
Speaker B
Praise the Lord, man.
Speaker B
I'll tell you what, and by the way, we should never get to the point in our life.
Speaker B
I believe this with all of my heart.
Speaker B
I've been saved a very, very long, long time.
Speaker B
I've been saved for 58 years now.
Speaker B
I've been saved for 58 years.
Speaker B
Know Christ as my savior.
Speaker B
And can I tell you something?
Speaker B
When someone trusts Christ as their savior and I get news about it, you're going to see somebody hopping and happy.
Speaker B
I'm telling you, I want to rejoice.
Speaker B
Amen.
Speaker B
Because after that prayer is said, when he lifts his hands with silence and he listens to that prayer and it goes into, from the heart of God and the Holy Spirit goes into that individual, I'm telling you right now, all of heaven is shouting the victory.
Speaker B
Amen.
Speaker B
I tell you, we should too.
Speaker B
Praise the Lord for that.
Speaker B
I'm so glad for that.
Speaker B
I'm so glad that he's always there, even in the times you wonder if he is.
Speaker B
I don't know if you've ever been to a point in your life where sometimes it just feels real lonely sometimes when you pray.
Speaker B
Have you ever been here?
Speaker B
I've been there.
Speaker B
I'm just going to confess all of this because I'm just preaching to myself right now.
Speaker B
Now, okay?
Speaker B
I have been to the point in my life where I've wondered if he's even hearing my prayers.
Speaker B
I remember when I was a school administrator back in the nineties running a christian school, and I'm thinking, man, I'll tell you what.
Speaker B
It seemed like God would wake me up in the middle of the night.
Speaker B
It was one of the most difficult jobs I've ever had in my life.
Speaker B
Man, I'm telling you, being a christian school administrator, because you're stuck by the rules and you're stuck by.
Speaker B
I often wonder how God, God does it with us and how he's long suffering and patient with us.
Speaker B
Sometimes I do.
Speaker B
But I remember waking up many times at night and I would go out into the living room and I'd sit there and I'd try to talk to the Lord.
Speaker B
I just felt like he wasn't even hearing me.
Speaker B
And sometimes I would just get to the point of despair where he's saying, you know what you need to do, Pat?
Speaker B
You need to just stop and be still and know that I am God.
Speaker B
Because in those moments, of despair, in those moments of difficulty, in those moments of conflict in your heart, in your life, sometimes what you need to do is just get into the presence of Jehovah, fall into that place where he can speak to you and minister to you.
Speaker B
You ever get to the point where you don't know what tomorrow holds or what's going to be honest with you, we've run into that lady.
Speaker B
Sometimes, you know, you get to the point, you get to the age where you wonder, am I supposed to settle down?
Speaker B
We thought that was going to happen.
Speaker B
Am I supposed to relocate here?
Speaker B
We've been relocating and wondering where the Lord has it.
Speaker B
Her dad ended up having a stroke.
Speaker B
We thought, we're going to go there, we're going to help, we'll travel out of there.
Speaker B
We're blessed, that church's call and we have the opportunity to be able to be in them.
Speaker B
We're grateful for all that.
Speaker B
But sometimes I look and I say, lord, we're trying.
Speaker B
We're working right now.
Speaker B
We're currently trying to raise some support.
Speaker B
We've never had support.
Speaker B
We don't have monthly support.
Speaker B
We're trying to figure out how to do that.
Speaker B
I've never done that.
Speaker B
I finally got to the point where I'm going to just start asking, Lord, I need support.
Speaker B
How do I do it?
Speaker B
Just tell people, you know, yeah, you have.
Speaker B
Not because you ask not.
Speaker B
So I'm starting to ask, you know, and I know God's got it all.
Speaker B
He's got it all under control.
Speaker B
There are times I get to worrying.
Speaker B
Do you get to worrying?
Speaker B
You know, if I'm not careful, I'll start looking at things politically and I'll start worrying.
Speaker B
But you know what?
Speaker B
You need to just get alone and get that time with the Lord.
Speaker B
You just need to talk to him sometimes.
Speaker B
We just need to be still.
Speaker B
Just be still and be quiet and listen to that still, small voice that is speaking deep in our hearts so that we can be in that presence of our wonderful Jehovah.
Speaker C
In and out of situations that tug of war at me.
Speaker C
All day long I struggle for the answers that I need.
Speaker C
But then I come into his presence and all my questions become clear.
Speaker C
And for that sacred moment, no doubts can interfere.
Speaker D
In the presence of.
Speaker D
Of Jehovah.
Speaker C
God Almighty.
Speaker D
Praise of peace.
Speaker C
Troubles venice hearts are.
Speaker D
Remaining in the presence of the king.
Speaker C
Through his love, the Lord provided a place for us to rest, a place to find the answers in the hour of distress.
Speaker C
Now, there's never any reason for you to give up in despair.
Speaker C
Just slip away and breathe his name he will surely meet you there in.
Speaker D
The presence hashem of Jehovah God Almighty, friends of peace troubles banish, hearts are made hash in the presence of the king.
Speaker C
In the presence of the kingdom.
Speaker B
I'm not going to preach a whole sermon, but I'm going to give a thought tonight.
Speaker B
And I got to thinking about the very name of Jesus itself.
Speaker B
I got to thinking about everything it possesses, all that it holds.
Speaker B
I think about even at the very beginning of Matthew, where the angel came to Joseph, Mary, and in dreams, and they said this, and she shall bring forth the son, and thou shall call his name, Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins.
Speaker B
And I got to thinking about Jesus and what's.
Speaker B
In the name of Jesus?
Speaker B
In the name of Jesus is salvation.
Speaker B
It's salvation for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Speaker B
Doesn't say might.
Speaker B
It says, shall be saved.
Speaker B
I got to looking at how the world needs to stop trusting in themselves and how they need to trust in Jesus and only Jesus.
Speaker B
If our political system could get back, get God back into it and put Jesus first, as the Bible says, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, we gotta add that part.
Speaker B
It's in there.
Speaker B
And all these things shall be added.
Speaker B
If they could get that back where it should be, it would take care of a whole bunch of issues here in this country.
Speaker B
I got to thinking about how, in the name of Jesus, it heals.
Speaker B
Hurting world.
Speaker B
In the name of Jesus is security.
Speaker B
Can I tell you something?
Speaker B
I'm eternally secure.
Speaker B
I read it this morning.
Speaker B
We're sealed with the Holy Spirit, aren't we, brother?
Speaker B
Sealed.
Speaker B
You try to break that.
Speaker B
The Bible says that I am in the palm of his hand and no man can pluck him.
Speaker B
Pluck me out of his hand.
Speaker B
I've got security in Jesus.
Speaker B
In Jesus there is is hope.
Speaker B
Can you imagine what it'd be like if there wasn't any hope?
Speaker B
If there's no hope, I can't imagine what that would be like in the life of somebody living without Jesus.
Speaker B
I don't know what that's like.
Speaker B
I was saved when I was seven.
Speaker B
I've grown up knowing Christ as my personal lord and savior.
Speaker B
I don't know what it's like not to have hope.
Speaker B
I love having hope.
Speaker B
In Philippians, it talks about being found in fashion as a man.
Speaker B
He humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Speaker B
It talks about how he went to the cross to pay sin's debt for you and me.
Speaker B
Jesus did that.
Speaker B
In the name of Jesus, there's salvation.
Speaker B
In the name of Jesus, there's power.
Speaker B
There is power in his name a sick have been healed.
Speaker B
People have said, in the name of Jesus.
Speaker B
In his name the dead have come back to life again.
Speaker B
Lazarus, come forth.
Speaker B
In his name.
Speaker B
The storms can be calmed.
Speaker B
They can be calmed even when there's a big storm going on.
Speaker B
And you say, well, it's all about how much stuff, my stuff is destroyed.
Speaker B
No, even inside, when it is destroyed, you can still call upon the name of Jesus and there's a peace, there is a comfort.
Speaker B
There is a power in, in his name.
Speaker B
Jude 121 says, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life, and some having compassion, making a difference.
Speaker B
In the name of Jesus, yes, there is provision, salvation.
Speaker B
There's power and there's also peace.
Speaker B
Aren't you thankful that you know him?
Speaker B
Where when you lay your head on your pillow at night, you know there's peace?
Speaker B
Do you know the world can't explain that?
Speaker B
And when you try to explain that peace that's in your life to somebody that's in the world, they look at you like you're crazy.
Speaker B
But I'm glad I've got him.
Speaker B
Who is peace?
Speaker B
A peace that passes all understanding.
Speaker B
Many times when we would travel down the road, and even now, sometimes when I get a little bit tired, I'll pull into a rest area, or my wife, she's wiped out.
Speaker B
She can't drive.
Speaker B
I'll pull into a rest area and we'll just lay our head back.
Speaker B
And when we drive the coach and we pull into a Walmart, whatever the case is, by the way, I'd ask that Middletown Baptist church continue to pray that we're able to find a house.
Speaker B
They're real affordable right now.
Speaker B
I don't know if you noticed that or not.
Speaker B
They're not.
Speaker B
We're working on it.
Speaker B
We're just really trusting the Lord.
Speaker B
We are.
Speaker B
I know God's got it all set up.
Speaker B
We're just waiting to see what he's going to do, you know?
Speaker B
But I gotta tell you, and matter of fact, every time you go by Walmart, if there's a motorhome sitting in Walmart, that means you're supposed to pray for the McCluskeys.
Speaker B
Okay, well, we would pull into a Walmart and I'd fire up the generator and we go to bed that night.
Speaker B
Sometimes 203:00 in the morning, I lay my head on my pillow as I do really every night.
Speaker B
And I just say, I tell them, I'd say, thank you for.
Speaker B
For forgiveness.
Speaker B
Thank you for your love.
Speaker B
Thank you for your grace and for your mercy.
Speaker B
And I say thank you for peace.
Speaker B
The peace that passes all understanding.
Speaker B
I got to thinking about songs about Jesus.
Speaker B
Jesus is the sweetest name I know Jesus means all the world to me what a friend we have in Jesus I'd rather have Jesus than silver or gold my Jesus, I love thee I know thou art mine.
Speaker B
We have heard the joyful sound Jesus saves.
Speaker B
Jesus saves and when we sing those songs, they shouldn't just be songs that we sing.
Speaker B
Just as a ho hum, we ought to lift our voice.
Speaker B
I have heard the joyful sound Jesus saves.
Speaker B
Jesus saves we ought to sing that song from the depths of our heart.
Speaker B
Because he saved you and me.
Speaker B
I think of that song.
Speaker B
Jesus.
Speaker B
Jesus.
Speaker B
Jesus there's just something about that name.
Speaker B
Master savior Jesus when you say it, it's like the fragrance after the rain.
Speaker B
Jesus.
Speaker B
Jesus.
Speaker B
Jesus.
Speaker B
Let all heaven and earth proclaim kings and kingdoms they're going to all pass away.
Speaker B
But there's something about the name of Jesus would you sing that with me?
Speaker B
Jesus Jesus Jesus there's just something about that name if you don't know him today, you come talk to us, we'll tell you about him.
Speaker E
Sing it with me.
Speaker E
Jesus.
Speaker E
Jesus Jesus Jesus there's just something about that name Master Savior Jesus Master Savior Jesus like the fragrance after the rain Jesus Jesus.
Speaker E
Jesus let all heaven let all heaven and earth proclaim.
Speaker D
Kings and kingdoms, kings.
Speaker E
And kingdoms will all pass away but there's something about that name sing it again.
Speaker B
Sing it from your heart.
Speaker E
Sing it to him.
Speaker E
Jesus Jesus Jesus there's just something there's just something about.
Speaker D
Master Savior Jesus Master.
Speaker E
Savior Jesus like the fragrance after the rain like the fragrance after the rain.
Speaker D
Jesus Jesus Jes.
Speaker D
Let all heaven and earth proclaim let all and earth broken kingdom kings and.
Speaker E
Kingdom will all pass away but there's.
Speaker D
Something above that name.
Speaker B
We're going to sing this song, and I'm going to turn it over to the preacher.
Speaker C
So many souls have tested him throughout the course of time.
Speaker C
So many still reach out to him with broken hearts and mind.
Speaker E
And every one of them will say with no exception that they can find.
Speaker D
Jesus Jesus never fails.
Speaker C
Even in the days of old he brought his people through and then he came to show his love when he died for me.
Speaker E
And you and then he rose again to prove that every has been true.
Speaker C
That Jesus never fails.
Speaker D
Jesus never fails Jesus never fails you might as well get thee behind me, Satan, you cannot prevail because jesus never fail.
Speaker C
Sometimes this world brings troubles that I find so hard to bear.
Speaker C
I know I could not make a it without Jesus being there.
Speaker E
It's so encouraging to know however deep.
Speaker C
We'Re in despair that Jesus never.
Speaker E
So what can I do to prove to you?
Speaker C
Tell me how can you deny no.
Speaker D
One told that no mysteries, it's all oh so cut and dry and on the wizards stand of your life I'll be the first to testify that Jesus never fails.
Speaker D
Jesus never fails.
Speaker D
Jesus never fails.
Speaker D
You might as well give me behind me Satan, you cannot prevail because Jesus never fail.
Speaker D
Jesus never fails.
Speaker D
Jesus never fails.
Speaker D
You might as well give me behind me Satan, you cannot prevail because Jesus never fails.
Speaker D
